KT Cloud Enters Public AI Market with CSAP-Certified AI Platform

KT Cloud is set to target the public AI transformation (AX) market by offering an artificial intelligence (AI) platform that has obtained Cloud Security Assurance Program (CSAP) certification.

KT Cloud has expanded AI Foundry, which was introduced to the private cloud market last year, to the public cloud sector. This enables public institutions and local governments to access AI services at the same level as those provided to the private sector.

The flagship products of AI Foundry, "RAG Suite" and "Vector DB," have obtained CSAP grade certification. Cloud service providers must obtain CSAP certification to enter the public sector market in Korea.

Public institutions and local governments can use RAG Suite to convert internal unstructured data-such as PDF or Word documents-into formats suitable for AI training. They can also utilize Korean language-specialized large language models (LLMs), including KT's own "Mi:dm 2.0," Upstage's "Solar Pro 2," and "Solar Mini." This enables the implementation of AI services in the public sector without the need to build separate infrastructure.

Alongside obtaining CSAP certification, KT Cloud will also enhance product features. On the 23rd of this month, it plans to launch RAG Suite 2.0 with improved security and accuracy, adding features such as: PII (Personally Identifiable Information) detection and masking for secure personal data management; AI response guardrails to filter inappropriate answers; a Korean document parser capable of extracting tables, images, and complex formats from documents; and rerank functionality that reorders search results to improve answer accuracy.

Additionally, during this month, KT Cloud plans to register RAG Suite and Vector DB with the National Information Society Agency (NIA)'s "Digital Service Specialized Contract System" to streamline contract procedures for public institutions.
