Lee Sangil, Mayor of Yongin Special City, attended the "3,000th Delivery Commemoration Event" held in the first-floor lobby of Yonsei University Yongin Severance Hospital on the 21st, where he celebrated the achievement of 3,000 cumulative deliveries and encouraged the medical staff.

원본보기 아이콘The event was attended by Mayor Lee, Yongin Severance Hospital Director Park Jin-oh, as well as hospital officials, who gathered to celebrate this remarkable achievement together-reaching 3,000 deliveries in about six years since the first delivery in April 2020.
In his congratulatory remarks, Mayor Lee stated, "The birth of a life is the most beautiful thing in the world. It is truly extraordinary that such a beautiful event has occurred 3,000 times here." He went on to say, "I would like to express my respect, congratulations, and gratitude for the dedication and efforts of Director Park Jin-oh, the obstetrics and gynecology medical team, and all hospital staff."
Mayor Lee also remarked, "Yongin Severance Hospital is serving as a model and a guide for local healthcare, which gives citizens a great sense of reassurance. Recently, Yongin City and Yongin Severance Hospital signed an agreement to launch a career exploration program, through which middle school students will have the opportunity during their vacation to learn from medical professionals and observe clinical activities. I hope this kind of collaboration will be further strengthened in the future."
