Gapyeong County Seeks Food Booth Operators for '2026 Jarasum Flower Festa'

Gapyeong County in Gyeonggi Province is publicly recruiting food booth operators until April 24 for the upcoming '2026 Jarasum Flower Festa (Spring)', which will open on May 23.

Gapyeong County stated that this recruitment was planned to offer visitors the pleasure of dining at the festival and to invigorate the local food service industry. A total of four booths will be recruited.

The main items for sale are snacks that can be easily enjoyed at the festival site, such as hot dogs, churros, fried chicken bites, and sandwiches. Selected operators will be provided with one booth measuring 3×3 meters, along with a table, chairs, and basic facilities such as electricity. The booth entry fee is 500,000 won.

Applicants must have both their registered address and business location in Gapyeong County as of the announcement date (April 20), and must be actual residents. This measure is intended to ensure that festival profits are directly returned to local residents.

Those wishing to participate must submit the required documents by April 24. The final operators will be selected through a computerized lottery among the applicants. Further details and application forms can be found in the announcement on the Gapyeong County Office website.

This year's Jarasum Flower Festa, under the theme of 'Colorful Garden', is scheduled to be held from May 23 to June 14 on Namdo Island, Jarasum.
