Eastar Jet Launches Busan-Almaty Route with Fares Starting at 321,100 Won

Eastar Jet announced on April 21 that it will launch an exclusive promotion for the Almaty route for one week starting from April 22, ahead of its new Busan-Almaty service.

The promotion covers the Busan-Almaty and Incheon-Almaty routes, with the lowest one-way total fare, including airport taxes and fuel surcharges, starting at 321,100 won. The boarding period for the Incheon-Almaty route runs from April 25 to October 24, and for the Busan-Almaty route, from the inaugural flight on May 1 to October 23.

Starting May 1, Eastar Jet will become the first airline to operate the Busan-Almaty route exclusively, with flights twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. The outbound flight departs from Gimhae International Airport at 18:55 and arrives at Almaty International Airport at 22:40 (local time). The return flight leaves Almaty at 23:40 and arrives at Gimhae International Airport at 09:35 the following day.

An Eastar Jet representative said, "The optimal time to visit Almaty is from the pleasantly cool months of May to September," adding, "We hope this promotion allows travelers to enjoy Almaty, also known as the Alps of Asia, at a reasonable price."
