The group BTS has entered the top 10 of the US Billboard main song chart, the "Hot 100," for four consecutive weeks.
According to the chart preview article published on the Billboard website on the 21st, the title track "SWIM" from BTS’s fifth full-length album "ARIRANG" ranked 10th on the Hot 100 chart dated April 25. Since debuting at No. 1 on the April 4 chart, the song has remained at the top ranks for a full month. It also maintained the No. 1 position on the Digital Song Sales chart for four consecutive weeks.
"ARIRANG" placed third on the main album chart, the "Billboard 200," maintaining a top-three position for four consecutive weeks. This surpasses the group’s previous best four-week record on the Billboard 200-eighth place with their sixth mini album "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA."
According to Big Hit Music, all 46 shows of the "BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG," which includes Korea, Japan, North America, and Europe, are sold out. The tour, which began on April 9 at Goyang Stadium, drew over 240,000 attendees in just Goyang and Tokyo. The world tour will be held across 34 cities worldwide, comprising a total of 85 shows.
The "BTS THE CITY ARIRANG" project, which transforms entire cities into festival spaces, will also expand globally. Having started in Seoul, the project is scheduled to move to Las Vegas, USA in May, and Busan in June.
