원본보기 아이콘On April 21, MoaData announced the launch of its ultra-light smart ring, "FLOFIT Plus (FLOFIT+)," which incorporates artificial intelligence-based anomaly detection technology.
This product is the result of extending the company’s anomaly detection technology-originally developed for the data center (IDC) and ICT equipment sectors-to the field of human biometric data analysis. The company stated that the product was developed by combining hardware optimization technology with the health data analysis capabilities of its subsidiary, Mediage.
FLOFIT Plus features an ultra-slim design with a thickness of 6.4mm and an ultra-low power configuration, allowing for extended wear. It is equipped with an Edge AI-based "Life-Saver" function, which supports real-time biometric data collection, analysis, and monitoring. The device measures oxygen saturation (SpO2), heart rate (HR), and step count, and also provides fall detection. By learning the user’s typical biometric patterns, it is structured to send alerts to both the user and their guardian in the event of an abnormal sign.
In particular, the product focuses on two key elements of healthcare devices: comfort of wear and enabling a continuous data collection environment. Through integration with Mediage’s health data analysis service, it goes beyond simple measurement to offer personalized health guidance and ultra-personalized services based on daily data.
MoaData explained that, through this product, the company has taken another step toward building an integrated AI digital healthcare model that combines devices, data analysis, and health management platforms.
The company is also accelerating its expansion into the global market. FLOFIT Plus has signed a supply agreement with National Healthcare, the largest hospital network in Thailand and ASEAN, to provide the smart ring alongside its health management platform. Starting in June, the company plans to expand service coverage to approximately 5 million customers.
A company representative commented, "FLOFIT Plus is an example of extending our existing anomaly detection technology into the domain of human health data," adding, "Starting with Thailand, we are seeing growing interest and requests for collaboration on healthcare models combining smart rings and platforms in the Southeast Asian market."
