The "Our Neighborhood Traditional Market" special exhibition was designed to promote excellent products from small business owners at traditional markets, who serve as the backbone of the local economy, and to encourage consumption. Cheongnyangni Market was selected as the first target location, and a wide range of stores participated, including those in the fried chicken alley, jokbal·bossam alley, sundae soup·hangover soup alley, as well as shops selling side dishes, fruits·vegetables, and seasonal seafood.

A representative from the Coupang Eats Store Marketing Team said, "We made it possible for customers to view the full range of market stores at a glance on the Coupang Eats special exhibition page," adding, "During the exhibition period, we provided discount coupons to Wow members so they could enjoy traditional market foods and groceries at more reasonable prices, and these benefits contributed to the increase in sales."

"Yungane," a Korean restaurant that has been operating at Cheongnyangni Market for 23 years, commented, "Order volume and sales increased, and the coupon event was a great help to our business." "Gohyang Jokbal," which sells jokbal, said, "March is typically a slow season as the weather gets warmer, but our sales nearly doubled thanks to the increase in orders."

Coupang Eats plans to expand the "Our Neighborhood Traditional Market" special exhibition to other traditional markets that need revitalization of the local economy, based on the results of this exhibition. The next exhibition will be held at traditional markets in the Daegu area.

Kim Myung-gyu, CEO of Coupang Eats Service, said, "The results of the special exhibition at Cheongnyangni Market show that traditional markets can significantly enhance their competitiveness through online platforms," adding, "We will continue to provide practical support to ensure that traditional markets in each region can grow stably in the future."
