On April 21, Dyson will launch its travel hair dryer, the "Supersonic Travel Hair Dryer," in Korea.
The Supersonic Travel is 32% smaller and 25% lighter than the original Supersonic Hair Dryer, maintaining Dyson’s powerful drying technology in a compact 330g design. With a free-voltage design, it can be used anywhere in the world, making it easy to store in a suitcase and convenient for daily fitness routines, weekends, and international travel.
James Dyson, founder and chief engineer of Dyson, stated, "We didn't just make a hair dryer smaller; we completely redesigned it for travel environments. The Supersonic Travel offers excellent styling capabilities while protecting hair from excessive heat. It is a product designed with performance, portability, and hair health in mind." It features intelligent heat control technology that measures temperature 100 times per second to prevent overheating.
When used with the "Dyson Omega Leave-In Conditioning Spray Mini," the Supersonic Travel enables perfect styling anytime, anywhere, even while traveling. The Dyson Omega Leave-In Conditioning Spray contains the "Dyson Oli7™ Blend," made up of seven plant-based oils, including sunflower seed oil grown on Dyson farms, to prevent tangling and provide moisture to the hair.
Dyson Global Styling Ambassador and Hollywood celebrity hair stylist Irinel de Le?n commented, "Recently, there has been a growing demand for easy yet polished travel styling. The Supersonic Travel allows you to achieve your desired look while maintaining hair shine, making it suitable for both humid and dry environments. The product’s precise airflow gives volume at the roots and smooths the ends, resulting in a natural, intentional style-an ideal choice for modern individuals."
The Dyson Supersonic Travel will be available on Dyson’s official website, Dyson stores, Dyson Beauty shops in department stores nationwide, and online retailers. A pop-up event where customers can experience the new product firsthand will be held at Seine in Seongsu-dong for four days starting on April 23.
