Schneider Electric, a company specializing in energy management and automation, will participate in "GX Week (Green Transformation International Week)" at the Yeosu World Expo Center in Jeollanam-do as a speaker for the high-level RE100 Dialogue session.
"GX Week," hosted by the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment, is a large-scale international event on climate and energy, held for the first time in Korea in conjunction with the 3rd United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Climate Week and the 2026 Climate Change Week.
At this event, Deepak Khetpal, Head of Sustainability Business for Asia at Schneider Electric, will join as a panelist in the session "Accelerating the Energy Transition in the Age of AI: Global Public-Private Cooperation Strategies for Achieving RE100." He will share strategies for how companies can respond to the acceleration of the global energy transition, as well as directions for building sustainable power systems.
This session serves as a high-level forum established against the backdrop of global energy developments, including the acceleration of renewable energy adoption, increased power demand due to the expansion of artificial intelligence (AI) and data centers, and heightened geopolitical uncertainty. In particular, the main agenda will focus on Korea’s vision for green transformation, exploring public-private cooperation measures to build a stable and economical decarbonized power system and to strengthen the competitiveness of clean energy.
Panelists will include representatives from RE100 member companies, including Schneider Electric. Discussions will center on key topics such as innovation in energy infrastructure and next-generation power grids, trends and investment promotion in the Northeast Asia renewable energy market, corporate renewable energy sourcing strategies (including PPAs), supply chain resilience, energy efficiency, and digital optimization.
A Schneider Electric representative stated, "As the energy transition accelerates, digital technology and data-driven approaches have become core elements in building sustainable power systems. Through this RE100 Dialogue, we will present corporate renewable energy sourcing strategies and implementation plans, and share insights for building a more efficient and carbon-reducing energy ecosystem."
