The Korea Federation of SMEs announced that it held the entrance ceremony for the 20th class of the 'KBIZ AMP (Advanced Management Program of SMEs)', a top executive program for small and medium-sized businesses, on April 20.
KBIZ AMP is a specialized CEO program for small and medium-sized enterprises established by the Korea Federation of SMEs in 2008. The program provides a policy and business network that connects government, the National Assembly, related organizations, 891 industry-specific cooperatives nationwide, and 2.23 million SMEs. With the educational goal of 'cultivating respected leaders who foster creative people and organizations,' the program has produced 1,091 alumni over 19 classes as of 2025.

Kiwoong Oh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Korea Federation of SMEs, stated, "Despite strengthening the admission requirements, more students have joined compared to previous years," adding, "We will restructure the program to provide practical education truly necessary for SME CEOs so they can respond to changes in the business environment."
The 20th class will continue for about six months, starting with this entrance ceremony. This year's program expanded the proportion of strategic thinking and convergence modules by 66% compared to previous years, in order to strengthen management decision-making skills in the face of global and technological changes. More than six regular courses on artificial intelligence (AI) have been organized, with a focus on applying AI in management decision-making by covering topics such as AI policy, humanities, business, and security.
Additionally, a new 'KBIZ Coop AMP' track has been established to address SME collaboration and alliance strategies, running in parallel with sessions on cooperatives, support policies, and mutual aid programs. The regular courses are operated under four modules: leadership and communication, strategic thinking and convergence, management essentials, and happy CEO. Lectures are given by professors including Jaeboong Choi from Sungkyunkwan University, Youngman Yoo from Hanyang University, Sungjoon Cho from Seoul National University, Jungho Park from Myongji University, and Junghak Lee from Dongguk University.
