Krit Ventures Makes Follow-Up Investment in Global K-Pop Entertainment Company Day1Dream

Venture capital firm Krit Ventures announced on April 21, 2026, that it has made a follow-up investment in global K-pop entertainment company Day1Dream through the IBK-Krit Content Investment Association.

Day1Dream, established in 2022, is engaged in K-content businesses including artist management, music and album production, concert planning, and MD/IP commerce. Krit Ventures previously made a seed investment in Day1Dream in December 2022.

Day1Dream operates a total of six subsidiaries-BTOB Company, VOID, Set the Stage, B Factory, DPA, and Mind Map Music-based on three main business pillars: label, IP-related side businesses, and entertech. The company has built a structure where revenue generated from a single IP is divided and expanded across its subsidiaries. While traditional music and album-centric revenue models require a long period for recouping advance payments, Day1Dream has shortened the IP monetization cycle by internalizing side businesses such as concerts, MD, and content, which is a distinctive feature of its business model.

Day1Dream has established a stable capital-raising system by integrating tokenized securities (STO) with its IP business model. The company formed the world's first K-POP STO consortium with SBI Digital Markets in Singapore and Kyobo Life Insurance, and utilized STO as a major project financing tool, including the complete sale of its first fund.

Krit Ventures decided to invest in Day1Dream, highly valuing not only its vertically integrated structure that maximizes IP value, but also its business model that enables rapid capital recovery.

With this investment, Day1Dream plans to expand its artist IP portfolio and accelerate Korea-Japan management collaboration and IP-related side business expansion, using its newly established Japanese subsidiary, DOD Japan, as a base.

Minhyung Lee, CEO of Day1Dream, stated, “Through this investment, we aim to establish ourselves as a platform that enables artists to stably expand their presence in the music industry, and to create a global K-POP expansion system that encompasses not only our own artists but also external artists.”

A representative from Krit Ventures said, “Day1Dream is a company that has directly operated various businesses-such as label, concerts/MD, and STO-as a single entity and has proven its performance. We will continue to discover and invest in companies with growth potential in the cultural content industry.”
