The ceremony featured presentations on project outcomes, awards for outstanding projects and students, the awarding of certificates of completion, and reflections from the graduates.
This course, offered as a master’s-level program to train AI experts through industry-academic cooperation between Samsung Financial Networks (Samsung Life Insurance, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, Samsung Card, and Samsung Securities) and Kookmin University, began in 2022 as the 'Digital Strategy Course,' evolved into the 'AI Digital Strategy Course' in 2025, and is being conducted this year as the 'AI Strategy Course.'
In particular, this year’s program covered the entire AI process from planning to development and marketing, teaching students business methods that leverage AI agents as work partners, and operated as a project-based, hands-on course designed to enable immediate application in actual business settings.
The training was held over five weeks starting in March, totaling 175 hours, with 27 students selected as next-generation AI talent from each company participating.
The participants carried out new business and service development projects incorporating AI agents, achieving results that can be applied in the financial field, such as intelligent work automation, AI-based decision support, and hyper-personalized service implementation.
Lee Eun-hyung, Director of External Cooperation, stated, "The AI Strategy Course is the nation’s top industry-academic cooperation program that covers all areas from AI planning to development and marketing. I hope that the projects carried out in this course will lead to real change and that participants will continue their efforts even after returning to their respective workplaces."
