The area is a mix of residential and commercial zones and has long suffered from a shortage of parking spaces, resulting in a steady stream of complaints from local residents. Therefore, the completion of this public parking lot is expected to significantly improve parking convenience for the community.
In addition to the parking lot construction, pavement work was also carried out on the previously unpaved land along Tongil-ro, which is expected to help suppress dust and alleviate the inconvenience caused to residents by deteriorating road conditions during rainy weather.
An official from Paju City stated, "We expect that the construction of this public parking lot will improve parking conditions in densely populated residential areas and around local businesses. We will continue to pursue initiatives to enhance the parking environment in ways that citizens can directly experience."
