Naturalway is set to begin full-scale development of commercialization technology for bio-materials targeting functional aging responses.
On April 21, Naturalway announced that it had been selected for the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy’s “World Class Plus Project Support Program.”
The World Class Plus Project Support Program, overseen by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, selects mid-sized companies with growth ambition and technological potential, and provides comprehensive support throughout the entire cycle-from technology development to overseas market entry-to foster globally competitive mid-sized enterprises.
Naturalway possesses capabilities covering raw material planning, formulation development, and production based on its OEM and ODM business for health functional foods, and has strengths in both the commercialization and real-world application of R&D outcomes.
In response to population aging and increased healthcare demands, Naturalway plans to enhance the commercial viability of aging-response materials while reinforcing the foundation for localizing key ingredients in functional foods.
Choi Jongheon, CEO of Naturalway, stated, “This selection is recognition of the capabilities Naturalway has accumulated in developing functional ingredients and our technological competitiveness in products,” adding, “All our employees will do their utmost to further strengthen our business competitiveness in the global market based on proven functional ingredients and innovative packaging technology.”
