원본보기 아이콘On Tuesday, the 21st, morning temperatures are expected to drop sharply, resulting in chilly weather. The morning low is forecast to fall to 2 degrees Celsius in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, and Chungju, North Chungcheong Province.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, morning lows will range from 2 to 11 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will be between 17 and 23 degrees Celsius. In most regions nationwide, morning temperatures will drop by about 5 to 10 degrees Celsius compared to the previous day, and strong winds will make it feel even colder.
As the temperature difference between day and night is expected to reach 15 to 20 degrees Celsius, special care for health is advised.
The weather will be mostly clear across the country, but clouds will gradually increase from the night. Jeju Island is expected to experience cloudy conditions throughout the day.
Fine dust levels will remain at 'bad' or higher across most regions nationwide due to yellow dust carried in by westerly winds. The metropolitan area, Gangwon region, Chungcheong region, Gwangju and North Jeolla, Daegu and North Gyeongsang are expected to reach 'very bad' levels, while South Jeolla, Busan, Ulsan, South Gyeongsang, and Jeju are expected to reach 'bad' levels.
At sea, wave heights are forecast at 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the South Sea coastal waters. In offshore waters, wave heights will be relatively high, ranging from 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea and South Sea.
