The police have decided not to disclose statistics by type for the ongoing investigations. This decision aims to prevent unnecessary misunderstandings, such as allegations of bias, during the investigative process. It also reflects the agency's commitment to maintaining a strict and neutral stance when handling cases.

In particular, the Daegu Metropolitan Police Agency has made it clear that it will apply a zero-tolerance policy to major illegal acts that undermine the fairness of the election, responding with heightened rigor. The agency has also expressed its determination to thoroughly investigate serious election offenses, such as election-related violence, in accordance with the law and principles, in order to uphold electoral integrity.

An official from the police stated, "It is difficult to provide statistics by investigation type," and added, "We also cannot confirm specific details about the individual cases currently under investigation."

This investigation demonstrates that as the local elections enter a full-fledged phase, monitoring of violations of the election law is being intensified. The police plan to continue closely examining any illegal activities throughout the election process and will maintain a strict response policy to help establish a fair election culture.
