This section has raised safety concerns, as the bus boarding waiting area is close to the roadway, and citizens waiting for buses have occasionally come into contact with the side mirrors of passing buses, resulting in potential safety accidents.
Mayor Lee also inspected the area around the bus stop to check the feasibility of installing a shelter structure. During winter, strong cold winds at the Jukjeon Station bus stop have often caused waiting citizens to shiver from the cold.
Mayor Lee also met and encouraged Mr. Lee Si-young, the driver of Town Bus No. 24, who saved the life of a Chinese international student who collapsed on a bus last year.
On April 10 last year, when a Dankook University international student collapsed on the bus due to hypovolemic shock, Mr. Lee stopped the bus at the nearest hospital, carried the student on his back, and rushed the student into the hospital, saving the student's life.
