The Ministry of Science and ICT announced on April 20 that it will launch a new internal policy brand and management initiative called "DaHamGae Sprint (SPRInT)" to concentrate its capabilities on key policy issues under its jurisdiction.

Sprint is aimed at establishing an internal information-sharing and collaboration system for five major issues-Start-up, Physical AI, Region, International, and Talent-which are core work areas overseen by the Ministry of Science and ICT. Until now, policies and projects related to these fields had been scattered across various departments. The initiative was named directly by Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Science and ICT Bae Kyunghoon.

Going forward, the relevant departments for each of the five issues will regularly share key schedules and plans, and seek ways to enhance public policy effectiveness through mutual communication and organic cooperation when formulating and implementing policies. When necessary, the initiative will also be managed with the support of the Office for Science and Technology AI Policy Cooperation to enable joint efforts in external events and policy promotion.

Vice Prime Minister Bae stated, "Through DaHamGae Sprint, we will focus our policy capabilities within the ministry and further enhance mutual understanding among divisions and bureaus. This will not be a one-off event; we will continuously monitor progress using the electronic board installed in the office and strive to spread an efficient, collaboration-centered work culture on an ongoing basis."
