S-Oil Donates 100 Million Won to Orchestra for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities

S-Oil announced that in celebration of Day of Persons with Disabilities, it held the "Sunshine Sharing Concert" at its headquarters in Mapo-gu, Seoul, on the 20th, and donated 100 million won to the Heart Heart Foundation to support an orchestra for individuals with developmental disabilities.

This donation will be used to train instructors in the arts and culture field for orchestra members with developmental disabilities, as well as to provide educational programs aimed at raising awareness about disabilities among students and the general public.

The Heart Heart Foundation established the country's first orchestra for individuals with developmental disabilities in 2006 to help young people with disabilities develop their talents and participate in society. S-Oil has been supporting the Heart Heart Foundation for 18 consecutive years since 2009, with the aim of promoting cultural and artistic activities and improving awareness for people with disabilities.

In particular, starting in 2025, S-Oil will also contribute to employment stability for orchestra members by supporting the establishment and operation of a standard workplace for people with disabilities within the orchestra.

Anwar Al Hejazi, CEO of S-Oil, stated, "The music created together by the orchestra members with developmental disabilities is truly beautiful and deeply moving," adding, "We will continue to support young people with developmental disabilities who have musical talent so they can pursue their dreams, and we will fulfill our responsibilities as a socially responsible company."
