Former Assemblyman Taeyong Son Selected as Democratic Party Candidate for Uiryeong Governor in Gyeongnam

Former Gyeongnam Provincial Assemblyman Taeyong Son has been officially selected as the Democratic Party of Korea candidate for Governor of Uiryeong County in the 9th nationwide local elections.

The Gyeongnam Provincial Branch of the Democratic Party of Korea held a primary from April 18 to 19 between two preliminary candidates, former Assemblyman Son and attorney Changhwan Kim, and confirmed Son as the candidate.

Both preliminary candidates had recently left the People Power Party before applying for the Democratic Party of Korea nomination for Governor of Uiryeong County.
