Dong-Eui University Startup Incubation Center announced that it held a special lecture and investment roundtable on the 15th at the Dong-Eui Cinema Hall in the Industry-Academic Cooperation Building, inviting Seo Jonggun, Director of Busan Technology Startup Investment Center.
This event was conducted as part of the Dong-Eui University RISE project. More than 100 people attended, including employees of tenant companies at the Startup Incubation Center and students interested in entrepreneurship.
Daegu University Startup Incubation Center held a special lecture by Seojonggun, Director of Busan Technology Startup Investment Agency, on the 15th at the Industry-Academic Cooperation Building Dongui Cinema Hall.
원본보기 아이콘The special lecture was held under the theme "From Idea to Investment: Entrepreneurship Starting Within the University." Director Seo explained the entire process from discovering startup ideas to commercialization and attracting investment, focusing on real-life cases. He also emphasized the importance of a university-based startup ecosystem and early-stage startup strategies.
In the subsequent roundtable, 12 tenant companies, as well as investment institutions SparkLabs and Insight Ventures, participated. Attendees shared difficulties encountered in business operations and discussed strategies for each growth stage, ways to connect with investors, and directions for activating the local startup ecosystem.
Director Seo Jonggun stated, "The university is the starting point for entrepreneurship," adding, "We will continue to provide support so that student startups and early-stage companies can achieve stable growth."
Kim Hyunsoo, Head of the Startup Incubation Center, said, "The special lecture and roundtable provided practical help," and added, "We will expand programs to strengthen entrepreneurial competitiveness."
