Lotte Engineering & Construction Recruiting Seoul-Based Startups with Innovative Construction Site Technologies

Lotte Engineering & Construction is recruiting Seoul-based startups with innovative technologies that can be applied to construction sites.
On April 20, Lotte Engineering & Construction announced that, in partnership with Seoul Startup Hub Seongsu operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Business Agency (SBA), it will openly recruit companies to participate in its open innovation program from today until May 11.
The recruitment areas include technologies related to improving efficiency and safety at construction sites, such as AI-based record management, AI indoor positioning, and integrated robot control.

The final companies will conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) directly with Lotte Engineering & Construction’s business departments and receive support for subsequent business commercialization. Among them, startups based in Seoul that have been established for 10 years or less will be eligible to receive commercialization support funds amounting to 10 million won.
Applications can be submitted through the Startup Plus website.
Lotte Engineering & Construction has been continuing startup discovery and collaboration programs since 2022. Last year, the company operated multiple programs in collaboration with organizations such as the Seoul Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, the Busan Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, and the Korea International Trade Association.
A representative from Lotte Engineering & Construction stated, "Through this open innovation program, we will take the lead in creating a mutually beneficial environment where we can discover and collaborate with startups possessing innovative technologies, such as digital transformation, robotics, and AI, that can be practically applied to construction sites."
