Jeong Wonoh Forms "Melting Pot·One Team" Campaign Committee... Lee Inyoung and Seo Youngkyo Named Standing Co-Chairs

Park Jumin, Jeon Hyunhee, Kim Youngbae, and Kim Hyungnam?Former Rivals in the Primary?Also Join the Team

Jeong Wonoh, the Democratic Party's candidate for Seoul Mayor, has completed the formation of the "Melting Pot·One Team" election campaign committee and is now preparing in earnest for the election campaign. The standing co-chairs, who will oversee the campaign, are Assemblyman Lee Inyoung, who has been elected five times and holds the record for the most terms among Seoul representatives, and Assemblywoman Seo Youngkyo, a four-term lawmaker. Assembly members Park Jumin, Jeon Hyunhee, Kim Youngbae-who were rivals in the Seoul mayoral race-and Kim Hyungnam, former Secretary General of the Center for Military Human Rights Korea, have also joined as standing co-chairs.

Assembly members Han Jeongae, Nam Insun, Jin Sunmi, Hwang Hee, Kim Youngho, and Ko Minjeong have joined as co-campaign chairs as well. Assemblywoman Han will also serve as the head of the talent recruitment committee, while Assemblyman Hwang will concurrently serve as the head of special advisors. Former Unification Minister Lee Jaejung will take on the role of fundraising chair.


Candidate Jeong has also separately established the "Judgment on Oh Sehoon’s 10 Years Headquarters." Assemblyman Chun Junho, who has served two terms and previously worked as chief of staff to the Seoul Mayor, will lead the headquarters. Lee Jieun, a lawyer and former police officer who currently heads the Democratic Party's Mapo-gu Gap district committee, will join as deputy chief.


Assemblyman Lee Haesik, who played a leading role in the primary, will serve as the chief campaign manager overseeing all operations. Assemblyman Yoon Geonyoung will head the strategic planning division. The policy division will be co-led by Assemblymen Oh Gihyung and Jung Taeho. Assemblyman Kim Donga will lead the campaign operations division, while Assemblyman Han Minsu will head the campaign division. The public relations·new media division will be jointly led by Assemblyman Kim Wooyoung and Han Unghyun, the Democratic Party’s publicity chair.


Assemblyman Park Mingyu will serve as candidate Jeong’s chief of staff, former Gangwon Province Governor Lee Kwangjae will head the advisory group, and Assemblyman Hwang Hee will lead the special advisors. Assemblyman Lee Jeongheon will serve as both the head of public relations and chief spokesperson, and will also oversee TV debates and campaign speeches.
