Yantai Route Achieves 92% Average Load Factor in March

Since September 19 of last year, Eastar Jet has been the sole domestic airline operating this route. The proportion of Chinese passengers is high, and demand from Korean travelers continues to rise steadily.

In response to the growing demand, Eastar Jet will add an additional afternoon flight. Furthermore, during the holiday period from May 1 to May 5, the airline plans to operate an extra round-trip per day on a temporary basis.

Yantai is a coastal city located in the northern part of China’s Shandong Peninsula, well-known as the origin of Yantai Kaoliang Liquor. It is considered an economic hub, with industrial complexes housing major companies, and is recognized as an attractive travel destination due to its various tourist attractions such as Penglai Pavilion and its golf infrastructure.

A representative from Eastar Jet stated, "On our China routes, the load factor is steadily increasing for both departures from Korea and from the local market. We will continue to operate our routes flexibly in response to rapidly changing market conditions."
