On April 20, CJ Logistics announced that its U.S. subsidiary, CJ Logistics America (CJLA), had successfully concluded its participation in the logistics exhibition 'MODEX 2026,' which was held in Atlanta, USA from April 13 to 16 (local time).

This event is North America's largest global industry exhibition, where the latest logistics technologies and trends are on display. This year, more than 1,100 companies participated, and about 50,000 industry stakeholders and experts from sectors including manufacturing, distribution, and logistics attended.

CJ Logistics operated its own booth, where it presented the current state of CJLA's logistics business and introduced its global third-party logistics (3PL) services, which provide integrated solutions for complex logistics processes such as transportation, warehousing, and international shipping. The company especially highlighted its cold chain logistics solutions, utilizing cold storage centers currently operating in New Century, Kansas and Gainesville, Georgia. These solutions, which are specialized for refrigerated and frozen goods, received a positive response from manufacturers and distributors requiring precise temperature control.

At the exhibition, CJ Logistics put a spotlight on its 'NextGen AI (Next Generation AI)' operating system, which is designed to simultaneously enhance the safety, productivity, and accuracy of logistics centers. The system collects data through cameras and sensors within the logistics center, analyzes it using machine learning and generative AI software, and monitors workers' movements and workflow in real time. It can also detect potential hazards and the possibility of collisions in advance. Through this system, the company aims to create a safer work environment and improve both work speed and accuracy.

CJ Logistics also showcased its AI-based transportation management technology. This technology analyzes real-time data generated throughout the transport process, such as sudden changes in driving speed or route deviations, to enhance transportation safety. In addition, by using real-time vehicle location and route data, it enables more accurate predictions of estimated arrival times and provides highly reliable delivery information to clients, while also supporting precise management of the entire transport process.

In addition, CJ Logistics introduced its advanced logistics capabilities by presenting automated equipment such as fixed-route automated guided vehicles (AGVs) for pallet transport and autonomous forklifts (AFLs), as well as a real-time monitoring system that allows users to see the status of all logistics operations at a glance.

Kevin Coleman, CEO of CJLA, said, "As interest in supply chain management grows worldwide among key industry players such as manufacturers, distributors, and logistics companies, this exhibition was an opportunity to introduce CJ Logistics' differentiated integrated logistics solutions to the global market. We will continue to provide high-quality logistics services and accelerate our efforts to expand in the North American market through ongoing technological advancement and strengthened operational capabilities."
