At this exhibition, LS Electric will unveil a comprehensive package of power and automation total solutions tailored for data centers. The main power solutions on display will include: ▲DC solutions for data centers ▲UL-certified distribution systems ▲power distribution units (PDU) ▲remote power panels (RPP), among others. For automation solutions, the company will showcase high-performance inverters essential for data center HVAC systems such as the high-efficiency H100 inverter and the compact SP100 inverter.

LS Electric has recently expanded its data center business in North America, including signing power equipment supply contracts with global big tech companies. Since the beginning of this year, LS Electric's orders from big tech data centers have already exceeded KRW 500 billion.

LS Electric has been proactively securing technology by focusing its research and development (R&D) capabilities on DC solutions, which are set to become the core of next-generation data center power infrastructure. As artificial intelligence (AI) data centers are expected to see power consumption per rack soar to as much as 1 MW, DC distribution-which reduces power conversion steps and increases efficiency-is emerging as a viable alternative.

The company has also established a 'DC Factory' at its Cheonan plant, where it has successfully demonstrated a DC distribution line capable of handling 1 MW-class power supply, laying the groundwork to meet the needs of global data center customers in the future.

Ja-Kyun Koo, Chairman of LS Electric, previously emphasized the so-called 'DC era', stating, "Future power competitiveness depends on how efficiently electricity is used," and added, "Direct current can dramatically reduce power loss and become a game changer, fundamentally transforming the power market."

An LS Electric representative said, "The North American data center market is a key battleground where next-generation power infrastructure is being adopted most rapidly. By participating in this exhibition, we aim to build a 'DC first-mover' brand image in the North American market through next-generation power systems centered on DC solutions, accelerate the acquisition of big tech customers, and further drive the expansion of our global business."
