[Breaking] Iranian Military: "U.S. Firing on Iranian Merchant Ship Violates Ceasefire... Retaliation Imminent"

Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Joint Combat Headquarters, announced in a statement on April 20 (local time) that the Iranian military would soon respond and retaliate against what he described as acts of armed piracy by U.S. forces. He stated, "The United States has violated the ceasefire, committed acts of maritime robbery, fired upon an Iranian merchant vessel in the Gulf of Oman, paralyzed its navigation system, and deployed numerous marines onto the ship's deck."
