On April 20, most regions across the country are expected to experience rain, which will temporarily ease the recent early heat.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on April 19, tomorrow's weather will be mostly cloudy before gradually clearing. Rain clouds forming over Jeju are expected to spread to central regions (excluding the east coast of Gangwon), as well as North Jeolla, northern South Jeolla, and inland areas of South Gyeongsang, with rain likely to continue through April 21.
The predicted precipitation is highest in Jeju Island at 10 to 60 millimeters, while less than 5 millimeters is expected in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, the five West Sea Islands, inland and mountainous regions of Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, South and North Chungcheong, Gwangju, northern South Jeolla, North Jeolla, Daegu, inland and northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang, and inland South Gyeongsang.
The early heat that appeared over the weekend is also expected to subside. The daytime high temperatures will range between 16 and 24 degrees Celsius, and the morning lows will be between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius, which is more than 5 degrees lower than the previous day.
The forecasted minimum temperatures in major cities are as follows: Seoul 14°C, Incheon 12°C, Chuncheon 12°C, Gangneung 15°C, Daejeon 14°C, Daegu 14°C, Jeonju 14°C, Gwangju 14°C, Busan 15°C, and Jeju 15°C. The expected maximum temperatures are: Seoul 19°C, Incheon 16°C, Chuncheon 20°C, Gangneung 24°C, Daejeon 19°C, Daegu 23°C, Jeonju 18°C, Gwangju 19°C, Busan 22°C, and Jeju 20°C.
Meanwhile, fine dust concentrations nationwide are expected to remain at 'good' to 'normal' levels.
