Kim Minseon7 achieved a wire-to-wire victory.
On April 19, at Kaya Country Club (par 72, 6,902 yards) in Gimhae, Gyeongnam, she played the final third round of the Nexen Saint Nine Masters-the fourth tournament of this season’s KLPGA Tour, with a total prize fund of 1 billion won. Kim Minseon7 recorded three birdies and no bogeys. With a 3-under-par 69 on the day, she secured a one-stroke victory at 16-under-par 200.
This marks Kim Minseon7’s second career win, following her victory at the Deokshin EPC Championship in April of last year, earning her a winner’s prize of 180 million won. She maintained the lead for all three days, and her bogey-free 54-hole performance in the third round added to the significance of her victory. In her first tournament of the season, The Siena Open 2026, she finished tied for 18th, and in her second, the iM Financial Open 2026, she tied for 6th. She continued her upward momentum by winning her third event.

She was unable to make a birdie through the 4th hole (par 4), allowing Kim Minbyeol and Jeon Ye-seong to join her at the top. However, back-to-back birdies at the 5th (par 4) and 6th holes (par 3) put her back in front. On the 5th hole, a precise iron shot left the ball 1.83 meters from the cup, and she calmly made the birdie putt. On the 6th (par 3), she landed her tee shot 1.92 meters from the hole and secured another birdie.
Kim Minseon7 remained steady on the final 18th hole (par 4). Jeon Ye-seong, who trailed by one stroke, attempted an aggressive birdie putt from 5.76 meters to tie the score, but the ball stopped 0.27 meters short of the hole. After a sigh of relief, Kim Minseon7 calmly saved par and savored the joy of victory. She said, "This year, I want to gradually overcome my shortcomings and achieve good results," adding, "My goal is to win five times."
Jeon Ye-seong made a strong charge, reducing her score by three strokes, but had to settle for runner-up at 15-under-par 201. Last week’s iM Financial Open winner, the "super rookie" Kim Min-sol, tied for third at 13-under-par 203 alongside Jung Yoon-ji, Kim Min-joo, and Kim Min-byeol. Choi Eun-woo, who won this tournament in both 2023 and 2024, finished tied for seventh at 12-under-par 204. Defending champion Bang Shin-sil tied for 12th at 10-under-par 206 with Park Hyun-kyung.
