Wildfire Breaks Out on Yeongyang Hillside, Helicopters and Personnel Deployed for Containment

At approximately 3:48 p.m. on April 19, a fire broke out on a hillside in Seokbo-myeon, Yeongyang-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, prompting authorities to begin firefighting operations.

In order to contain the wildfire, the forestry authorities have deployed four helicopters and 75 personnel to the scene and are currently working to extinguish the main blaze.
