On the 17th, Ecopro announced on the 19th that it participated in the "Together in the North" event, organized by the Pohang City Northern Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled, and engaged in volunteering to serve special meals as well as other sharing activities.

This event aims to spread the value of sharing by having disabled volunteers deliver donated instant noodles from the local community directly to organizations for the disabled and child welfare institutions within Pohang. On this day, Ecopro employees also participated as volunteers, serving special lunches to about 400 disabled individuals, their caregivers, and local residents, and spending time communicating with the local community.

On the same day in Cheongju, Ecopro continued its support activities for the development of sports for the disabled in the region. Ecopro donated KRW 25 million to the North Chungcheong Province Sports Association for the Disabled to help improve athletes’ training environments and boost morale. The company then visited the training center of Onnuri Sports Team, a sports team for the disabled under Ecopro, delivering snacks to encourage the athletes.

Onnuri Sports Team was established in February 2019 as the first sports team for the disabled founded by a company in North Chungcheong Province. Ecopro established the team to foster a culture where disabled athletes can focus on training in a stable environment and to contribute to job creation for disabled people in the local community.

An Ecopro representative stated, "It was meaningful to have an opportunity for all members of the local community to come together without prejudice and better understand one another in celebration of the Day of Persons with Disabilities," adding, "We will continue to carry out various social contribution activities in cooperation with the local community to bring about positive change."
