The program, held on April 17, was part of the Changwon-type Educational Development Special Zone project. It was designed to allow students who hope to pursue future careers in the tourism and hotel sectors to step out of their school environment and experience a real hotel workplace, thereby enhancing their understanding of the work required of future hoteliers.

In particular, the program included a tour of actual hotel departments such as rooms, front desk, and food & beverage, as well as a special job lecture with a current hotel professional. The lecture provided practical information about the hotel, the roles of each department, recruitment procedures, and job preparation methods.

During the following Q&A session, students were able to ask about specific work details and employment-related topics they had been curious about, helping them set more concrete directions for their career paths.

Jung Soon-Gil, Director of the Autonomous Administration Bureau, said, "This job experience opportunity was especially meaningful because it went beyond a simple tour to allow students to directly observe and understand the tourism and hotel industry in practice. We will continue to actively support specialized high school students so they can gain diverse experiences connected to our region's tourism industry."

Meanwhile, Changwon City plans to continue offering customized Job Experience Days at local specialized high schools, including Changwon Technical High School, Masan Technical High School, Gyeongnam Electronic High School, and Changwon Industrial High School, in accordance with each school's unique characteristics.
