The Financial Services Commission announced on the 19th that it will be recruiting participants for the "2026 D-Testbed" for four weeks starting from the 20th.
The D-Testbed is a program that allows fintech companies and aspiring entrepreneurs to verify and validate innovative ideas by utilizing a combination of financial and non-financial data, as well as a secure analysis environment provided by the Korea Fintech Support Center.
Starting this year, in response to the rapidly growing demand for developing financial services using generative artificial intelligence (AI) and data, a new track supporting graphics processing units (GPUs) with high-performance AI computing environments has been established. Participating companies will be able to use their own data to develop and validate new AI models, with high-performance GPU support providing a testing environment similar to real-world scenarios.
Additionally, the data provision period has been extended from a maximum of three years to five years. The test environment has been further enhanced by allowing external data imports and introducing a hybrid analysis environment, among other improvements.
This year's first-half D-Testbed will be operated with two tracks: the general test track and the GPU support track. Approximately 25 participants will be selected in total.
Applications can be submitted online through the D-Testbed website. For more details, please refer to the website or contact the Korea Fintech Support Center.
