Blue House Convenes 'Emergency Security Situation Review Meeting' on North Korean Ballistic Missiles

The National Security Office at the Blue House convened an emergency security situation assessment meeting on the 19th in response to North Korea's ballistic missile provocation.


As the relocation of the Yongsan Presidential Office to the Blue House is expected to be completed before Christmas, on the 12th, officials were cleaning the glass windows at the main building of the Blue House in Seoul. The Blue House announced that, on the morning of April 19, a meeting would be held with relevant ministries, presided over by Kim Hyun-jong, First Deputy Director of National Security.


Earlier, the Joint Chiefs of Staff stated that, at around 6:10 a.m. on April 19, North Korea launched multiple ballistic missiles from the vicinity of Sinpo.
