Inje County Successfully Concludes Family Program 'Dream Exploration Team'... "Strengthening Family Bonds in Nature"

Dream Start in Inje County, Gangwon Province operated the family experience program "Dream Exploration Team: Discovering Hidden Experiences in Inje" to support children's emotional development and strengthen family bonds.

This program was held twice, on April 11 and April 18, offering participating families special memories by making full use of Inje County's pristine natural environment and rural resources.

On the 11th, the "Spring Scented Shepherd's Purse Hunt Operation" took place in Haetsal Village, Namjeon 1-ri, with 16 people from 5 families participating.

Participants experienced picking spring herbs, feeling the seasonal changes firsthand, and spending time in nature to connect with their families and find emotional stability.

On the 18th, 18 people from 7 families took part in the "A Sweet Day at the Strawberry Farm" program at Berry Sinnam Strawberry Farm in Nam-myeon.

The children learned the importance of agriculture and enjoyed meaningful time with their families by harvesting and tasting strawberries themselves.

This program aims to support positive emotional development in children and promote family harmony by providing field experience opportunities to children and families who typically have relatively limited access to cultural and hands-on activities.

A parent who participated in the program expressed satisfaction, saying, "It was a meaningful time to sweat and laugh together with my child in the beautiful nature of our region, without having to travel far."

Chunmi Kim, Head of the Department of Sports and Youth, said, "I hope that it was a valuable time for children to feel the change of seasons in nature and to build precious memories with their families. We will continue to create an environment where children can grow up happily through various experiential activities."
