The 'Seocho Chamber Music Festival' is a series of free chamber music performances by young artists, utilizing the music infrastructure such as cultural spaces and instrument workshops in the 'Seocho Music Culture District', the only district in Korea designated as a music culture zone. Since its launch in 2019, the festival has offered a total of 450 performances to local residents.

The recruitment is open to groups of young artists specializing in classical music, comprised of three or more members aged between 19 and 39. After a screening process, a final selection of 20 teams will be made. Last year's public recruitment recorded a competition rate of 2.8 to 1.

The performances will take place in a relay format at small venues across Seocho-gu, such as the Rode Art Center and Seoripul Art Hall, from July 1 to August 27. The chamber music festival will also be included in the weekly program of the district's representative event, the 'Seoripul Music Festival'. Applications for participation and reservations for attending performances can be made through the Seocho-gu Office website. For inquiries, contact the Culture and Tourism Division at 02-2155-8311.

A district official stated, "We hope the passionate chamber music performances by young artists will provide residents with refreshing relaxation and healing," adding, "We will continue to create stages where young artists can fully demonstrate their abilities and realize their dreams."
