The Korea Institute of Design Promotion announced on the 18th that it will hold a regional tour briefing session to introduce the selection plan for 'Good Design Korea 2026 (GOOD DESIGN KOREA 2026·Excellent Design Product Selection)'.
Good Design Korea is the nation's leading design selection system, awarding the government-certified GD (GOOD DESIGN KOREA) mark to products with outstanding design. The program began in 1985 and celebrates its 42nd anniversary this year.

원본보기 아이콘This briefing session has been organized to revitalize the local design industry and help companies better understand the system. Starting with the Seoul regional briefing at the Korea Institute of Design Promotion on the 22nd, additional sessions will be held at the Gwangju Design Promotion Agency for the Gwangju region on the 28th, and at the Busan Design Promotion Agency for the Busan region on the 30th.
The briefing will cover: ▲the early bird application system and benefits, ▲an explanation of the revised evaluation process including integrated assessment of physical products and documents, and ▲introductions to the Korea Design Exhibition and Korea Design Awards projects.
Kang Yoonjoo, President of the Korea Institute of Design Promotion, stated, "Through on-site briefings, we aim to help capable companies across the country more easily participate in the system," and added, "We will continue to support the discovery of innovative designs and their expansion into the global market."
