Jeon further stated, "The more malicious smear campaigns and incitement are repeated, the heavier the responsibility will become," adding, "I am convinced of a guilty verdict. This time, I sincerely hope you unlock your cell phone and cooperate fully with the investigation."
Former leader Han responded, saying, "I am filing a counter-complaint against Assemblyman Jeon for false accusation and for spreading false information under the Public Official Election Act." He added, "He can't even say he 'didn't receive it,' yet has the audacity to turn the tables. How is asking whether he received a Cartier watch or not a smear campaign?" Han continued, "If that's the case, then go ahead and file complaints against all the media outlets reporting on 'Jeon Jae-su's watch bribery.'"
