On the morning of April 16, the Cheongsong County Council held an appointment ceremony for the '2025 Fiscal Year Settlement Audit Committee Members' in the council's special committee room and announced the start of the audit schedule.

The settlement audit committee appointed on this day consists of a total of four members, including Assemblyman Jo Changul as the chief representative. The committee is comprised of individuals with both expertise and experience in finance and accounting, and they plan to meticulously review the legality, validity, and overall efficiency of budget execution.

The settlement audit will be conducted over 20 days, from April 16 to May 5, in the council's special committee room. After thoroughly reviewing the overall execution of Cheongsong County's 2025 budget, the audit committee members will submit an audit opinion report to the council, detailing any issues found and recommendations for improvement.

Sim Sanghyu, Chair of the Cheongsong County Council, emphasized, "The settlement audit is a very important procedure to verify the legality and validity of the budget executed over the year," and requested, "Please conduct a thorough and substantive audit to ensure that the precious taxes of our residents have been properly used."

Assemblyman Jo Changul, who was appointed as the chief representative, also stated, "We will carefully examine whether the budget was executed for its intended purposes and whether there were any unnecessary wasteful factors," adding, "I will approach this audit with a sense of responsibility so that Cheongsong County's finances can be managed even more transparently and soundly."
