The event was divided into two parts. The first part featured commemorative tree planting, an unveiling ceremony, and a ribbon-cutting. Afterwards, participants moved to the multipurpose hall on the fourth floor, where they enjoyed a pre-ceremony performance, a progress report, a plaque of appreciation presentation, a video screening, and a facility tour.

The newly opened Yangju 1-dong Administrative Welfare Center is located at 116 Oemi-ro (589-2 Nambang-dong). Construction began in October 2023 and was completed in April 2026. The center is a four-story building with one basement level, boasting a total floor area of 6,946 square meters.

The Yangju 1-dong Administrative Welfare Center serves as a community communication space that combines administrative, welfare, and cultural functions. In addition to the resident autonomy center, it is equipped with a community culture center, lifelong learning center, and the Infinite Care Center, among other facilities.

A Yangju City official stated, "We would like to thank the residents for enduring the inconvenience and for their unwavering support until the new office was opened. We hope that the Yangju 1-dong Complex Government Building will contribute to improving convenience for residents and revitalizing the local community."

With the opening of the Yangju 1-dong Administrative Welfare Center, the city plans to further strengthen existing administrative services and promote various community-tailored projects based on resident participation.
