Recently, large-scale apartment complexes have been regaining popularity in the housing market. These large complexes offer advantages in community facilities, landscaping, and management efficiency. Their symbolic status within local areas also makes them a preferred choice among real homebuyers.
Sehee Construction is set to supply a total of 1,056 units at the "Onam Station Sehee Star Hills Yeouijae Complex 3" in April. This is currently the largest single complex in Onam-eup. Notably, when combining Complexes 1 through 3, which are already in progress, a massive residential town comprising a total of 3,444 units will be established, positioning it as a key residential hub representing the northwestern part of Namyangju.
Of the 1,056 units in Complex 3 to be supplied this time, 117 units-excluding those allocated to union members-will be offered to the general public. Complex 3, which has completed project approval, will obtain sales approval within April and then begin public offerings, while Complex 1 is scheduled to break ground in May.
The location, Namyangju, is considered a direct beneficiary of the development of Wangsuk District, a third-generation new city. The establishment of an AI-centered digital industrial complex within Wangsuk District is becoming more tangible. With projects like Shinhan Financial Group's "AI Infinity Center" (KRW 850 billion), Woori Financial Group's "Digital Universe," and Kakao's "Digital Hub" underway, significant job creation is anticipated.
Onam-eup, adjacent to Wangsuk District and Jinjeop 2 District, is regarded as an optimal area for absorbing this underlying demand, offering excellent proximity between workplaces and residences. In fact, interest in the local real estate market is higher than ever, as public housing complexes in Wangsuk District have recently been selling out one after another.
The area boasts excellent transportation and living infrastructure. It is located within walking distance of Onam Station on Subway Line 4, offering outstanding accessibility to Seoul, and is surrounded by elementary, middle, and high schools, forming a safe school district. Rich green spaces such as Onam Reservoir and Gwangneung Arboretum are also significant advantages.
A representative for the sale stated, "Onam-eup has not seen any new private apartment supply for the past 19 years, making demand for new apartments and their scarcity extremely high. This is an opportunity to enjoy both the benefits of Line 4 infrastructure, which connects directly to Seoul Station, and the premium value of a large-scale complex with over 3,000 units."
