The main objective is to nurture practical, field-ready talents by actively reflecting the specialized education needs of Chodang University, a private institution, and supporting these needs with the robust educational infrastructure and operational foundation of a national university.
The signing ceremony was attended by Song Ha-cheol, President of Mokpo National University, Seo Yu-mi, President of Chodang University, and other key officials from both institutions, who gathered to discuss strategies for overcoming the crisis facing regional universities and fostering mutual development.
Key areas of cooperation include: ▲ sharing content and teaching methods for the 'Global Only-1' curriculum; ▲ credit exchange and mutual recognition for curriculum operation; and ▲ providing essential equipment from Mokpo National University and jointly utilizing a '1-Way Education Dedicated Practice Room' within Chodang University.
Both universities plan to use this agreement as a springboard to further advance practical educational cooperation in areas such as drone education, and to concretize support for specialized educational fields.
President Song Ha-cheol stated, "This agreement marks the beginning of practical educational cooperation that goes beyond simple exchanges between universities, responding to the demands of the region and industry. We will expand the foundation for regional universities to grow together, in line with the purpose of the Glocal University Project."
