I will establish an administration centered on the will of the people."
He also highlighted his strengths in integrity and hands-on governance, saying, "Throughout my life, I have worked tirelessly in the field, upholding integrity and innocence as my guiding principles. I will create a clean Geochang where corruption and wrongdoing cannot take root, and build an administration where common sense prevails."
◆ Choi also presented pledges for regional development.
He identified resolving the outflow of young people, transitioning to future-oriented agriculture, fostering the energy industry, and strengthening senior care as key priorities. He particularly emphasized, "The era of young people leaving Geochang is over; now is the time for their return. I will usher in an era where Geochang’s sunlight and wind become sources of income for residents, opening the way for an energy expressway and the age of solar pensions."
In the area of welfare, he promised, "I will make Geochang a place where seniors never hesitate in front of medical bills, where the administration is proactive in checking in, and where care arrives before it is needed."
Choi further pledged, "I will not be a governor for a specific party, but a governor for all 60,000 residents. I will transcend both conservatism and progressivism to unite Geochang under the common goal of residents' happiness," delivering a message of unity.
In his closing remarks, Choi stated, "Even during the darkest night, dawn always comes. What Geochang needs now is not resignation but change, not silence but determination." He concluded by urging support, saying, "I will break down the old walls of Geochang and greatly improve residents' lives. I will win, no matter what."
