The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced on April 17 that it will operate the "Animal Love Education with Veterinarians" program for elementary school students.
This program has been designed to help students understand animals as valuable living beings and to cultivate an attitude of respect toward them. Veterinarians who are members of the Incheon Veterinary Association will visit schools to guide the students.
The education will focus on helping students understand companion animals and stray animals, preventing animal abuse and promoting the value of respecting life, proper ways to interact and live with companion animals, and fostering a responsible pet culture and pet etiquette.
