[Today’s New Product] Did They Burn the Bun?… Lotteria Unveils ‘Burnt Beef Burger’

Lotteria announced on April 17 that it will launch a new product, the "Burnt Beef Burger," in collaboration with Chef Lee Chanyang, who appeared as the "Sarcastic Genius" on "Black & White Chef 2."

The "Burnt Beef Burger" features a harmony of the natural flavors of ingredients brought out to the brink of charring and a patty full of juices. The distinctive black burnt cheese bun, shaped as if it has been seared, is colored with squid ink, and the top is covered with grilled cheddar and mozzarella cheese for a rich and savory cheese flavor. Beneath the bun, there are caramelized onions that have been saut?ed for four hours and a pure beef patty.

At the same time, "Brown Butter Oil" is provided with the burger, allowing customers to enjoy the deep and nutty flavor of butter.

The new menu item is available in limited quantities at Lotteria stores nationwide starting today. The price is 8,800 won for the burger alone and 10,700 won for the set.

A representative from Lotteria GRS stated, "Following last year, our second collaboration with a star chef allows us to offer burgers not just as fast food but as a new experience of 'gourmet cuisine to enjoy in daily life.' We plan to continue introducing creative menu items that deliver a variety of experiences in line with the Lotteria brand concept."
