The Tokyo Accord sets forth a network vision to realize a sustainable digital society and drive global economic growth in the 6G era. During the event, LG Uplus met with Japanese telecom operators to share directions for 6G technology and AI network evolution strategies, and to detail specific areas of joint cooperation. The parties also agreed on the need for collaboration in core areas of next-generation communication infrastructure, such as AI-based network architecture, edge computing, and establishing digital trust. With major APAC telecom operators and 6G organizations, LG Uplus also agreed to cooperate on building open and interoperable network foundations, accelerating digital transformation across industries, establishing a secure and trustworthy digital environment, and securing sustainable business models.

This will be an important opportunity for LG Uplus to spread its AI strategy in the global market while also benchmarking Japan's network innovation cases."
