Korbit, South Korea's first virtual asset exchange, announced on April 17 that it is transitioning its organization to become AI-centric by fully adopting major artificial intelligence (AI) tools and building its own in-house AI work platform.
Korbit operates a proprietary in-house AI work platform, taking into consideration accessibility to internal systems and security environments. Developed by Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Lee Jungwoo, this platform is designed so that even non-developer employees can view internal data and generate charts using natural language, while developers can directly access the company's knowledge base through AI coding tools.
The platform was created to accumulate the organization's knowledge and context. Information entered by team members and existing repositories are automatically synchronized with the platform, allowing the AI to understand the entire organizational context. Multiple AI agents can then perform work based on this information.
The use of AI is expanding beyond development to encompass all areas of work. In compliance, AI is being applied to the preparation of various reports and to fraud detection systems (FDS). In development, there are examples of planners and designers leveraging AI to directly develop products. In addition, Korbit provides generative AI services such as Claude and Gemini to all employees.
CTO Lee stated, "True AI transformation is about making the knowledge that exists only in people's minds accessible and usable by AI."
