Korea Eximbank President Hwang Kiyeon Joins "Eradicate Illegal Youth Gambling" Campaign

Korea Eximbank announced on the 17th that President Hwang Ki-yeon participated in a relay campaign to eradicate illegal gambling among youth.

This campaign is a pan-societal initiative organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency to raise awareness of the dangers of youth gambling and to promote prevention. People from various sectors, including the financial industry, are participating in the campaign in a relay format, spreading the importance of youth gambling prevention throughout society.

President Hwang stated, "Recently, illegal cyber gambling through online and mobile channels is threatening the daily lives of our children," adding, "Korea Eximbank will also contribute to creating an environment in which future generations can grow up safely, so that mere curiosity does not lead to irreversible consequences."

President Hwang nominated Kang Seungjoon, Chairman of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, as the next participant in the relay campaign.
