Seongnam General Bus Terminal had ceased operations at the end of 2022 due to the previous operator's failure to overcome business difficulties after applying for suspension of operations in 2021. To minimize inconvenience to citizens, the city established and operated a temporary terminal along the roadside in front of the original terminal from January 2023. After conducting a search for a new operator, the city selected and approved NSP Co., Ltd. as the final operator, leading to the full resumption of normal operations in March 2025. The terminal initially reopened with 17 bus operators running 33 routes, and has since expanded to 48 routes, maintaining stable operations for over a year.

During his visit, Mayor Shin toured the Seongnam General Bus Terminal, inspecting key facilities such as the boarding and alighting areas and ticket counters. He also checked whether there had been any operational impacts, such as route changes, service reductions, or adjustments to bus intervals, due to the ongoing energy crisis.

During the on-site inspection, a Seongnam citizen, identified as Mr. Kim, commented, "Since the terminal resumed operations, it has become much more convenient compared to the temporary terminal. I hope it will continue to be well managed to ensure stable operations in the future."
