On April 16, KEPCO KDN announced the appointment of Park Kyungsu, Head of Power Intelligence and Safety Division, and Choi Jinsu, Head of Power ICT Division, as new standing directors.


Park Kyungsu, Head of Power Intelligence and Safety Division, joined Korea Electric Power Corporation in 1984 and is an expert in the information and communications technology field, having held positions such as Head of ICT Infrastructure Operations Center, Head of ICT Planning Office, Head of ICT Planning Division, and Head of the North Gyeongsang Regional Headquarters.


Choi Jinsu, Head of Power ICT Division, joined KEPCO KDN in 1994 and is recognized as an internal expert with a deep understanding of the company’s core businesses and overall organization, having served as Head of ICT Business Development Office, Head of Audit Office, and Head of New Business Development Division.


The two newly appointed standing directors will serve concurrently as vice presidents and division heads, with a term of two years.


KEPCO KDN stated that, through these appointments, the company aims to strengthen digital transformation and safety and operational capabilities based on power ICT, and to enhance efficiency across the energy industry as a whole.
